Review your life style : Are you leading a life in which you are working too hard but not relaxing? Or you are working too little and doing nothing at all? There should be good balance of work and leisure in everyday life to maintain mental health.

Contemplate on your life : We need to sit and give ourselves time to contemplate on our own selves. Ask yourself what actually you wish to get from your life, what is your exact goal. How many steps you have taken towards achieving your dream or aim in life? Are you satisfied? You may find that till now you have not set any goal for yourself and that is why you have been living a life with no purpose. When you are not satisfied, you become depressed. So just give yourself time and think about your life to understand the events and flow of your life.

Body and mind relation : There is a very strong relation between body and mind. If the body is neglected, sleeping, diet and exercise are inadequate, the body as well as the mind will suffer and vice versa.

The influence of people : It is very important to have those people whom we love and trust, such as teacher, friends, lover, family members etc. When we are frustrated, in pain, they can help us to survive the adversities of life.

Social Contact : We should interact with people around, whom we like and keep ourselves open to meeting new people and making friends. In this way we can have a healthy social contact and circle, which is very important as man is a social being.

Escaping will not help : If you think there is a problem in your life, do not ignore or avoid, take steps to solve it. If delayed, the problem can turn worse and your life and health can be seriously affected.

Mind your mind : The irrational irritability, lethargy, sleep disorder may appear unimportant to you, but if you do not take care, it will be worse and you may end up with clinical depression. If you think you need help for your mental problem, do not wait to seek help from a psychotherapist. Do not let your life go depressed, it is a very serious mental disease which ruins other spheres of life as well.
